How to Get Flying Dinosaurs in Prehistoric Farm
Get flying dinosaurs by completing Clara's Sky Egg quest at level 20, then hatching its five eggs from
Prehistoric Skies.
Start Clara's Sky Egg quest
The flying dinosaur route starts with Clara at Sky Spires. The quest lists a level 20 minimum and has three parts: bring 20 Pufferfish, dig 70 sites on
Triassic Island, and pay 10,000 coins.
Prepare a fishing rod and bait for the Pufferfish task, plus a shovel that can dig on Triassic Island. Keep the coin payment ready for the final part.

Finish the three quest parts
Pufferfish are Rare fish listed in the Reef stage at depths 26-66. The Fishing guide has the full fish and rod reference.
The second task is 70 digs on Triassic Island, not 70 fossils of one species. The final task is the 10,000-coin payment to Clara.
| Part | Task |
|---|---|
| 1 | Bring Clara 20 pufferfish. |
| 2 | Dig 70 times in the Triassic area. |
| 3 | Pay Clara 10,000 coins. |
Hatch the five Sky Eggs
Completing Clara's quest rewards five Sky Eggs. Hatch them in incubators to obtain members of the Prehistoric Skies collection.
The five possible flying dinosaurs are
Pterodactylus, Rhamphorhynchus,
Tapejara,
Pteranodon and Quetzalcoatlus. The listed chances below total 100%.
| Rarity | Species | Sky Egg chance |
|---|---|---|
| Legendary | Quetzalcoatlus | 5% |
| Epic | Pteranodon | 12% |
| Rare | Tapejara | 18% |
| Uncommon | Rhamphorhynchus | 27% |
| Common | Pterodactylus | 38% |
Grow a flying dinosaur to Subadult
Flying dinosaurs become rideable from Subadult. Maintain Belly above 50% while they grow; their growth time depends on rarity.
Listed egg hatch timers are one minute for Common, two minutes 30 seconds for Uncommon, five minutes for Rare, 10 minutes for Epic and 20 minutes for Legendary. Tutorial eggs can differ.
Use the Dinosaur Speed Chart to compare normal flight and boost speeds across all five species. Size and weight bands are listed on each dinosaur page.
