How to Get Nessie in Prehistoric Farm

Get Nessie through its boss egg drop: collect 12 underwater fragments, summon the boss and defeat it. The egg is a chance drop.

The Nessie egg route

Nessie belongs to the Legends collection. Its acquisition route uses underwater Nessie fragments and a summoned boss encounter. Defeating the boss gives a chance to receive its egg.

Start by collecting 12 Nessie fragments. If you still need access to the underwater region, complete Kai's Panthalassa quest first.

Collect 12 Nessie fragments

Underwater fragments spawn at :00, :15, :30 and :45 each hour. Search for the fragment spawns around those quarter-hour times and collect the 12 needed for the summon.

The fragment count is a summon requirement, not an egg guarantee. Keep the fragment collection step separate from the boss reward roll.

Find the Nessie summon location

  1. Collect 12 Nessie fragments.
  2. Use the 45-degree compass bearing to find the recorded Nessie summon location.
  3. Use the fragments at the summon location to spawn the boss, then defeat it.

Understand the Nessie egg drop

The Nessie egg is a chance drop after defeating the boss. Its exact percentage is not confirmed, so a successful fight does not guarantee an egg.

Nessie boss health, damage eligibility and other defeat rewards are also unconfirmed. The Mosasaurus and Raptor X contribution rules should not be assumed to apply to Nessie.

Hatch and raise Nessie

If you receive a Nessie egg, hatch it in an incubator. Nessie is Mythic, with a listed 20-minute hatch timer.

The calculated normal-growth chart reaches Subadult at 4 hours 48 minutes, Adult at 12 hours and Elder at 24 hours from hatching. Maintain Belly above 50%; boosts can shorten these growth times.
