How to Get True Dinosaurs in Prehistoric Farm
Get True dinosaurs by using the Forgotten Shovel on 
Late Cretaceous and collecting five matching fossils for an egg.
What you need for True dinosaurs
True dinosaurs come from the Late Cretaceous collection. You need the Forgotten Shovel to dig there, then five fossils of the same True dinosaur to complete its DNA set.
The collection contains True Triceratops, True Mosasaurus, True Spinosaurus, True T. rex and 
True Argentinosaurus. Their normal counterparts belong to different acquisition routes.
Get the Forgotten Shovel first
Complete the Blackgate questline to obtain the Bonebound Key and summon Raptor X. The Forgotten Shovel is a 1% boss drop, requiring at least 5% damage contribution to qualify.
You can reuse the permanent key, with a five-minute summon cooldown. The shovel chance is separate from the Raptor X egg reward.

Dig on Late Cretaceous
Equip the Forgotten Shovel and travel to Late Cretaceous. The listed chance of finding any True dinosaur fossil is about 1 in 2,000 digs, or 0.05%.
That rate applies to the whole True fossil outcome. Individual species chances are not confirmed, so it is not a 1-in-2,000 chance for each of the five dinosaurs. A specific set can take longer to finish.

Finish a five-fossil DNA set
The Late Cretaceous requirement is five fossils per species. Collecting five mixed True fossils does not complete a single dinosaur's set.
- Collect five matching fossils for your chosen True dinosaur.
- Bring the completed set to the DNA Lab on Home Island to obtain its egg.
- Hatch the egg in an incubator, then feed the dinosaur to keep it growing.

All five True dinosaurs are Mythic. Their listed hatch timer is 20 minutes, and the calculated normal-growth chart reaches Adult at 12 hours and Elder at 24 hours from hatching.
